Due to Road Construction and the repair of three bridges in Lee’s Summit all at the same time, the Half Marathon has now been changed to a 10K Road Race distance. This was just announced to us late last week and we along with Lee’ Summit Officials have decided to run the event this year as a 10K distance event. Athletes registered at this time will receive an email by the end of this week with options available should you not want to run the 10K distance and move your entry to another Half Marathon event in the Hy-Vee Women’s Running Series. Thank you for your understanding in this very sudden change due to the repair of these three bridges in Lee Summit by the Missouri Department of Transportation.

On Sunday May 22, 2022 the Greater Kansas City Women’s 10K and 5K, will be the “Ultimate Girl’s Running Weekend” for you and your girlfriends! The event will start and finish from the wonderful community of Lee’s Summit, Missouri just 10 miles from downtown Kansas City.

New for 2022: Each Women’s 10K produced by Premier Event Management in conjunction with Hy-Vee will now offer an exciting youth event in each market. The Hy-Vee KidsFit One Mile Fun Run will start and finish from our main finish line structure making the KidsFit event something extra special on race morning. Children from ages 5 to 15 are encouraged to join mom and a few dads on race morning to begin a life long lifestyle change at the Hy-Vee KidsFit One Mile Fun Run!
